We hope you'll join us for the inaugural PPF Activist Council Gathering in Asheville, NC March 31-April 2, 2016.

We will meet, worship, collaborate, conspire, organize, and strategize for peace! Amy Cantrell, of the Beloved Community in Asheville, and others will lead us in worship and action throughout the weekend. Together, we will learn and plan to do faith-rooted organizing for peace within our communities and the Presbyterian Church (USA).

The gathering begins with 6 p.m. dinner on Thursday, March 31 and ends at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2. We will provide transportation to and from the Asheville Airport. Another option is to fly in and out of the Charlotte airport and rent a car from there.

We'll be staying at Montreat Center in the Winsborough Lodge. Our meals will be in the Lodge and our meetings will be in Way Out A. There are a few small stairs going into the Winsborough Lodge. The distance between the Way Out A and the Winsborough is short, and we will have cars available for people who need them to get between the two spaces.

On Saturday we will participate in a tour of downtown Asheville led by the BeLoved community to see how their community is organizing for fair housing there. There will also be cars available to take people on the tour who are not able to do the walking tour.
