223rd General Assembly

Our call is to be movers and shakers within the PC(USA) and beyond, encouraging one another to take seriously God’s call to God’s people to participate in God’s nonviolent work of love, peace, and justice in the world. Advocacy at General Assembly is an important part of answering this call.

The Presbyterian Peace Fellowship seeks to send several young adults to the 223rd General Assembly in St. Louis, MO in June 2018 to help promote peace in the PC(USA) through advocacy and witness. If selected, you will join other members of PPF in attending committee meetings, hosting a breakfast gathering, organizing and attending non-violent demonstrations, and other events during the week. Apply by January 10, 2018. Interviews will be held in mid-January and interns announced by early February.

Questions? Contact David Ensign (revdocdee@gmail.com) or Colleen Earp (girlearp@gmail.com).

Are you going to GA223 and want to volunteer with PPF? We need volunteers to help with the Progressive Partners Breakfast, the Peace Breakfast on Wednesday 6/20, giving testimony and organizing others to give testimony in committees, staffing the booth in the exhibit hall, and much more! We also hope you'll be able to join our planning calls as we prepare for General Assembly. Please fill out the volunteer form and we'll be in touch.
