223rd General Assembly

Our call is to be movers and shakers within the PC(USA) and beyond, encouraging one another to take seriously God’s call to God’s people to participate in God’s nonviolent work of love, peace, and justice in the world. Advocacy at General Assembly is an important part of answering this call.

PCUSA Walk for a Fossil Free World

The time to divest from fossil fuels is now, and we're taking dramatic action to make that point. Walk with us--or any part of the way--from PC(USA) headquarters in Louisville, KY on June 1 to the start of General Assembly in St. Louis, MO on June 16.

Peace Breakfast

The Peace Breakfast at 7:00 AM on June 20 will honor 2018 Peaceseeker Awardees Rev. Dr. William Barber and Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharis for their urgent and prophetic work as moderators of the new Poor People's Campaign: A Call for Moral Revival and 2017 Peaceseeker rev. abby mohaupt for her prophetic and pastoral leadership for climate justice. Peaceseekers will speak about their call to people across the country to challenge the evils of systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, and ecological devastation.

Questions? Contact Rev. Emily Brewer (emily@presbypeacefellowship.org).

There are four PPF scholarships of $250 each available for those going to GA as observers and working to promote the issues and overtures that PPF supports. If you'd like to apply for a scholarship, please fill out this form. Deadline: March 31. Questions? Contact Emily Brewer (emily@presbypeacefellowship.org).

Are you going to GA223 and want to volunteer with PPF? We need volunteers to help with the Progressive Partners Breakfast, the Peace Breakfast on Wednesday 6/20, giving testimony and organizing others to give testimony in committees, staffing the booth in the exhibit hall, and much more! We also hope you'll be able to join our planning calls as we prepare for General Assembly. Please fill out the volunteer form and we'll be in touch.
