Activist Council
Setting Direction and Implementing Action
The Activist Council gathers virtually and in person to encourage one another in the work of nonviolence in our local churches and communities and to set the direction of PPF’s work. We don’t act alone. We help one another.
We have grown in our ability to be in community through virtual technology. Activist Council members live all over the United States. We are all ages, with many backgrounds and areas of interest and expertise. You are needed to help us move toward a world of nonviolence. After you sign up, someone from the Activist Council will reach out within the following two weeks.
The ABCs of the Activist Council are: Affirm the nonviolence of Jesus, Be active in PPF, Contribute each year as generously as you are able. We welcome you!
Executive Committee
Coordinating Programs, Staffing, and Finance
The Executive Committee (EC) is responsible for coordinating PPF’s collective efforts and overseeing the organization’s budget and legal obligations. The EC supervises and supports the Director as they carry out their duties.
Role of the Executive Committee:
Coordination and Leadership: The EC ensures that PPF's programs, staffing, and financial strategies are aligned with its mission.
Supervision: The EC supports the Director, offering guidance while overseeing their work.
Accountability: The EC ensures that PPF follows its bylaws, proposing amendments if necessary to better align with the movement of the Spirit.
Encouraging Innovation: Rather than gatekeeping, the EC embraces new ideas, seeking to sharpen and improve them as part of the decision-making process.
